Letter of intention
This page describes what to include in a letter of intention that you send to us as application to be a resident guest.
Things to include in your letter of intention
Please include the following information in your letter of intention:
- Interesting information about you that will help us get to know you. For example:
- Your current work, areas of interest or study that occupy you most
- your work or study history
- your hobbies or personal interests
- your goals in life
- Your interests and goals in staying with us
- what length of time you are interested in staying with us (up to 1 month)
- why you are interested in staying with us
- and what you hope to gain from staying with us.
- An understanding of expectations that like others in the community
- you will be involved in doing assigned chores and cooking meals
- you are passionate about and/or interested in engaging in, or learning about our traditions and intentions
On our end, we really want to and intend to make being a guest with us a really full, enjoyable and inspiring experience.
